Qualified, Enthusiastic Writing, English and Language Arts Tutor!

Hello! I was a language arts teacher for 9 years but am now a stay at home mom for my beautiful 7 month old son. As a Language Arts / English and writing teacher, I taught grades 6 through 10. I specialize in writing, especially helping students write stories and essays (college applications, etc.). I also help students with reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition.

I have my Master of Arts degree in Gifted Education and have worked with twice-exceptional gifted students, particularly students with OCD, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Asperger's and students with learning disabilities.

When tutoring, I individualize the lesson for each particular student. I am very enthusiastic, energetic and wish to make each lesson entertaining and informative.
