Hi!
My name is Brenda. I am a graduate of Columbia College Chicago (my major was in Television Production). I make my living being a freelance video editor. I have been in the post production business for many, many years.
I edit projects on either Avid or FCP 7. I am highly skilled as well with the Abode Suite of applications, like Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
I was interested in tutoring, because I think it is a 'win/win' for the tutor and student. There are always so many different ways to tell a story and video editing is just another tool to storytelling. I have found there is always something new to learn by looking at your task from a new perspective.
In the end, I hope to help facilitate a better understanding of what will help you streamline your vision by my knowledge of the tools and the software.
