I graduated from University of Central Missouri where I earned my bachelor’s degree in social work. I spent the next six years in the trenches of the Public Welfare system. My experiences as a social worker definitely helped mold me into the person I am today. The desire to teach came from my experiences as a social worker. I went back to school to earn my master's degree along with my Elementary Certification. I attended Webster University and completed my teaching certification in 2005 and Master's of Art in Teaching in 2009. I became a tutor so I could stay home with my children yet still work with students on their academic journey.

Additionally, I will consent to a background check upon request.
