Teaching is my true passion and I have over 18 years of tutoring experience. I love to see the light go on when the student understands what is being taught or explained. I have seen the light go on in my student's eyes plenty of times. I have home-schooled my three children for the past twelve years using an accredited curriculum.
After 12 years of home schooling, all three of my children have graduated from accredited universities. They are gainfully employed in their various career fields
I graduated with a degree in Journalism. I wrote two weekly columns for a newspaper, which was a very exciting experience. Writing for a newspaper taught me how important it is to write accurately so that everybody could understand my column. Spelling and writing in correct sentences are the most important parts of the newspapers. The less work on proofreading the Editor had to do on my columns, the happier he was!
I love to see students reading and writing interesting and creative stories because that tells me that their minds are expanding and always learning!
