I have been a substitute teacher, and also an after-school teacher for various languages, including Spanish, Latin, French and English. I have also had experience teaching ESL to young adults and older adults. I enjoy teaching Spanish, most of all, to all age-groups.

I have 2.5 years of full-time teaching experience, and I am currently certified to teach Spanish, English and French, as well as ESL classes.
I was a Spanish tutor for 2 years at Oakton College, and enjoyed helping college-age students prepare for Spanish tests.

I have experience in test preparation. I helped teenagers for 6 months to learn test preparation for the Prairie State Exam in Illinois. I have also helped my 3 children with their writing homework. My son, who has special needs, recently graduated from college, and we were able to work together on many assignments. I also received a Masters Degree in Linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University in 2010.

I have given private lessons to several other high-school and colllege- age students in the past, and I enjoy tailoring my lesson plans to fit each student's individual needs.

I studied Spanish for ten years, and I was a Spanish tutor at the language lab at the Community college for 2 years. I have also been a Spanish interpreter for the State of Illinois.

I took piano lessons for 6 years, and I can tutor beginning to intermediate students who want to learn to read music or play the piano. I have knowledge of classical music and composers, as well as popular and broadway music and composers.

Hebrew

I studied Hebrew for 5 years as a child, and for one sememster as an adult. I am able to teach Hebrew reading, especially for beginners.
