ACT Math
I have a special talent for teaching standardized tests such as the ACT exam. My extensive ACT math tutoring experience as well as my work in evaluation and scoring of US national exams in math and science provide me with unmatched practical professional experience. ACT Science
With the broad scientific academic background, work experience in science labs, and long and successful record of teaching and tutoring of sciences at many levels, make me a unique tutor who understands and applies the process of tutoring science the right way. ADD/ADHD
I have been successful in teaching students with special needs including ADD/ADDH through several opportunities. These include my assignment to teach small sized classes in middle schools.

Anatomy
Hello future health care professionals. First, I distinctly completed anatomy courses with labs including human anatomy, comparative anatomy and physiology, Mammalian embryology, and neuoroscience. I also worked in an academic anatomy lab, performing surgery on animals. Additionally, I taught human biology (classes and labs)to high school students covering all cells, tissues, organs and systems of the human body. Further, I tutored anatomy at Oakton Community College (OCC) for a while, then I had many students from OCC, North Park University, and others who were not doing well in their courses. Yet, after I tutored them for the rest of the semester, they ended up with A's or B's. What are you waiting for?
Biochemistry
I have two undergraduate degrees in bio-logy and chemistry (Bio-chemistry). In addition to completing graduate biochemistry classes and research for M.S. in medical sciences, I have been taking additional coursework toward a PhD in biochemistry. Courses include metabolic, structure and function of bio-molecules, and advanced biochemistry laboratory. Besides the educational background, I have been tutoring the subject to many students who were very happy to work with me. Knowledge, experience, and flexible methods of delivering the subject will make the difference in your world.
Biology
I have a B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. My G.P.A. for all biology classes is 3.7/4.0. In addition, my Master's degree in bio-medical sciences at Rush University in Chicago reinforced biology principles and concepts with advanced graduate courses. More importantly, all my biology students have been completely impressed with my understanding, knowledge, and method of teaching and tutoring the subject. Do not entrust your biology grade to the hands of other tutors when you have me with a proven record of students aiming only to pass general biology but ending up with A's. Be an A student.
Chemistry
Chemistry is an essential subject to so many other fields: medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and even geology and engineering. I have been helping students understand chemistry for many years using students' own unleashed talents. In addition to my B.S. degree in chemistry, my graduate work relied heavily on chemistry laws and principles. Do not delay your future plans by being stuck where you do not choose to be. Get the highest grade by comfortably learning the concepts of chemistry 1 and/or chemistry 2.
College Counseling
knowledge including science and technology reached the age of information overload, making a big impact on many other academic fields and professions. I personally kept up very well with all the numerous conventional professions with their new innovations, as well as brand new fields of study. This was accomplished over a long period of time by playing the role of teacher, mentor and counselor to high schools students outside school hours and on weekends. My counseling experience extends to the students I tutored, coming from all backgrounds. The most difficult yet, very important step is to find the student's passion, strength, and aspiration. Then, I use my expertise and knowledge to advise them on how and where to start, and help them map out the path leading straight to their destinations. In addition, I have helped students with the long tedious application process and how to reach their potentials once they are in college. Further, true success is not complete without adding the most important principles of education and life, which are prerequisites to accomplish all personal achievements.
Dentistry
I have a strong background in the basic sciences for those seeking to enter the dental profession. My specific experience includes preparing students for the dental admission test: DAT. This test requires detailed knowledge of biology and microbiology, chemistry, and physics. In addition, my specific expertise includes helping American students as well as foreign-trained dentists to prepare for the US license exam, required to practice dentistry in the United States. The test is composed of heavy knowledge of microbiology, gross and microscopic anatomy, biochemistry, physiology and more. My tutoring in this difficult field especially due to the vast amount of information, has been especially helpful for students with high ambition and determination. Genetics
My specialty in genetics and genetic analysis includes both (Mendelian) classical genetics, and (modern) molecular genetics. Geometry
Geometry is one of these subjects that keeps appearing in many tests throughout academic life. Examples are schools' admission tests such as ACT, GMAT, and GRE. This means that geometry is one of my most taught subjects. Instead of memorization, I teach students the basis for geometric rules and how to apply them. This makes it easier to learn, retain and do very well in your class and future tests that are coming sooner than later. Do not postpone learning this vital subject to your future.
GMAT
I have a special talent for teaching standardized graduate college entrance tests such as the GMAT exam. My extensive experience in teaching and tutoring arithmetic concepts, pre-algebra, algebraic equations, geometry, and other challenging math questions including word problems have built a unique background to tutor students all the principles in connection with the GMAT quantitative section. I can teach you what you need to know in an easy-to-understand way to get the best score that allow you attend the MBA Program of your choice.
GRE
The GRE is the one test that weighs heavily on the decision of the admission committee. I have helped many students with all or only part(s) of the test. First, my quantitative skills have boosted students' confidence to select the correct answer on math section. My extensive vocabulary, based on Greek and Latin as well as my copious readings, enables me to help students learn and retain the words. In addition, I have special techniques based on experience, so you can learn and utilize them on the verbal and written sections of the GRE exam.
Greek
I am fluent in oral and written Greek and have a long experience in teaching reading, writing, conversational as well as listening skills. Microbiology
Microbiology is a very important subject in medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, etc. Microbial physiology, biochemistry and Genetics are what makes the subject challenging. In addition to my strong background in the above subjects, I have excelled in a large number of basic and clinical microbiology courses and labs at the undergraduate and graduate level. Further, I have completed an internship in a microbiology lab. Further, I have a long experience tutoring the subject successfully to many happy students.
NCLEX
Since I have a masters degree in clinical laboratory sciences, I had to complete more than a year of rotation in all the hospital labs. There we had contact with all health care provider including nurses. While nurses' work is very fulfilling, it is also very demanding. In addition to working side by side, I had to take conference classes very often. These included patient's health protection and promotion, psycho-social maturity, pharmacological & parenteral therapies, safety, infection control and risk reduction. Further, I have taken, practiced, and tutored the very classes needed for everyday nursing profession. Examples of these classes are anatomy and physiology, clinical microbiology, clinical chemistry, pharmacology. and patient care and management. My students have and will learn the basic concepts needed to pass this nationally required test.
Nursing
I have a Master's degree in medical and clinical sciences from Rush University, which has one of the top ten Nursing programs in the country. I have successfully tutored many nursing students to do well in the following subjects: Clinical Microbiology, Nutrition, Pharmacology, Analytical and quantitative Chemistry, Organic Biochemistry, Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology and Pathophysiology, Health Care System, Patient Care in Pediatrics, Adult Medicine, and Geriatrics, Health management and Biostatistics, and finally preparing nurses for the license exam.

Physical Science
The first degree I earned was a bachelor of science in chemistry from DePaul University. Classes included one year of each of the following sciences: college physics, general chemistry, orgo-chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical and geochemistry. In addition, I taught physical sciences to middle and high school students, tutored many students around the Chicago area, and evaluated and professionally scored national physical sciences tests including physics, chemistry, environmental sciences, physical geography, and geology for several years.
Physics
Physics and chemistry have more similarities than differences. Hence, they are both physical, quantitative, and experimental sciences. They both rely on measurements and have the motto "if you can measure it, you can conquer it". To become a Chemist, I had to take one year of Physics courses and labs. I also had to take on year of physical chemistry with labs. In addition, I have successfully taught physics to high school students, and tutored introductory physics to college students. Above all, I am patient enough to explain physical laws with visible examples, comparisons, and simple equations.
Physiology
It has been said "Physiology is the mother of medicine". Since I am trained and certified as a medical laboratory scientist, I am an expert in physiology. I have also completed physiology college courses with labs including human physiology, comparative anatomy and physiology, neuorophysiolgy, endocrinology, biochemistry, clinical chemistry, immunology, hematology, and body fluids. Additionally, I taught human biology (classes and labs)to high school students covering all cells, tissues, organs and systems of the human body. Further, I tutored many happy college students from local colleges and universities.
Prealgebra
The name prealgebra can be misleading. First students think it should be easier than the other math subjects such as trigonometry. This is not the case for many reasons. It is the foundation for any higher math, and it requires precision and pure thinking. Once students complete this subject, they find out that they need it in other math and science classes. Further, it appears in a challenging way in ACT, SAT, GMAT, and GRE tests.Needless to say, I had to teach and tutor this subject for many different tests to high school, college, and graduate college applicants. TEAS
TEAS refers to test of essential academic skills. I have tutored students some or all of the subjects sections: math, science, reading comprehension, English and language structure. Many of my students' goals were to prepare to enter competitive post-high school programs primarily nursing. My students were and are literally amazed and expressively grateful to have them get ready for the test in the shortest time.
Zoology
Zoology is a broad discipline of biology that deals with classification of animals as well as many fields of investigation about animal life. My experience includes classes, and copious reading in zoology and sub- disciplines of biology related to animals. These include functional anatomy, systematic, paleontology, natural history, and bio- geography as well as teaching and tutoring these subjects for many years.
