I have an extremely varied background which makes my style of teaching and communicating interesting. I am an English Literature major and love English. I’ve done teaching in conventional and non-conventional milieus. I am especially adept with grammar, vocabulary, reading, composition as well as enhancing the students' study skills. I can offer some good time management strategies as well. I've worked as Editor, taught, done plenty of writing, and have been involved with the United Nations as their Consultant for UNICEF. All this and my travels, have made me versatile with different students and children.
My teaching style includes adherence to the fundamentals along with putting things in perspective. Learning and school is not hard if it includes references and examples from history and life. For younger kids, I make studying easy by explaining and letting the students figure out things by themselves. Basically my motto is that consistency with work takes the pressure off the student to do things at the last minute. Another way is to take the best from the students and build around it. No matter what others say, it is still cool to be knowledgeable and do well in whatever one is required to do. In short it is to be the best you can be.
