My life has been filled with extraordinary experiences back from my country of origin Venezuela, and here in the USA as well. I have been a practicing divorce recovery attorney, manager, community leader, family counselor and currently bilingual teacher in public schools during the last 7 years of my life. I have developed a strong bond with my Hispanic and not Hispanic students from K to 12.
The classroom is the environment where I have gotten the greatest rewards of my professional life. I have been able to touch a great number of student's lives, due to my innate ability to convince, persuade and probe what I teach by the utilization of a life time learned role modeling technique.
I have attended numerous courses, seminars and workshops during my teaching tenure. I have attended Concordia University Chicago for MAT in Teaching Program. Currently I hold a Substitute Teaching Certificate, which allows me to teach all subjects from K/12 until 2016. I hold a JD Degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela. I am articulate and fluent bilingually in Spanish/English.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Spanish

I am a fluent Spanish/English professional. Spanish is my native language, which I've been using during all of my professional life in my country of origin Venezuela, performing as a practicing attorney and also as a regular teacher at a local university. In addition, for eight years, I've been a bilingual teacher here in the United States, dealing with Hispanic students in a highly diverse bilingual class environment (70% Spanish). I teach all grade levels and subjects from Elementary to Middle School. My life time experience and expertise in the Spanish language, which includes grammar, reading, writing and fluency in general, makes me a unique candidate for teaching Spanish, being able to meet the specific student's demands at their best.
