I offer a one-on-one personal tutoring experience unmatched anywhere else. I strive to customize the educational experience for each student, to tailor each session to the student's individual needs. With years of experience teaching in a high school classroom, I have found that one-on-one sessions are the most effective way to deliver high-quality instruction. I've taught students from 3rd grade through 12th grade, from struggling students through honors students. This diverse background gives me the ability to meet the needs of any student that is willing to learn. I've also worked as an ACT tutor at a major Test-Prep program and within my professional institutions. I've never found these prescribed programs to be the most effective means of reaching students. I've always felt restricted by their specific demands, and as a private tutor, I can completely customize test prep to the individual student.

I have been an ACT tutor for 4 years. All of my ACT students have scored at least a 25 overall. 2 students have perfect scores on the Reading portion of the test. I tutored in an official program for 2 years, and I've been trained by a Literacy Coach as well. My methods in teaching ACT math are my own original work and often involve teaching students how to work around the math skills and solve problems within ACT time constraints.

Softball

I played Little League for years, and I am willing and able to coach baseball and softball at an amateur, community level. I coached softball for a middle school team while I taught at the school, and we won the city championship. I coached 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys on the fundamentals.
