Being a tutor allows me to fulfill a dual purpose; close the academic gap among our children, as well as leaving a legacy in a child’s life. Over the past nine years, I’ve committed to volunteering and working closely with youth. This commitment is not just for enjoyment, but a dedication to make a change. This dedication has warranted me many honors, awards and memories. The recent shift in my career change has allowed me to make the decision that this is my purpose in life; this is who I am. I am the educator, activist and supporter that many of our children need to help make the difference in their life. I take pride with the responsibility of grooming the academic, social, mental and physical growth of our children.
