I studied at the Defense Language Institute for the Armed Services and the National Security Agency "NSA" for work monitoring East German military communications and activities. Since my Honorable Discharge, I periodically return to Germany in order to keep up with its evolving culture and linguistic changes. I work best with K-1 to K-12 students since college students are too often hindered with rote memory drills and little experience in actual speaking skills.
I am also the author of six commercially published books, one self-published and one as a ghost writer. Published books need the kind of push that only a public speaker can accomplish. As a result, I have been a guest on ABC's "The View," did two FOX News appearances and was seen locally on Chicago PBS station WTTW as a guest on "Chicago Tonight," as well as heard on radio programs throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.
I have also done scores of lectures with the Smithsonian, Chicago History Museum and libraries and museums in the Chicagoland region.
I offer my services for anyone looking for help with
- K-9...K-12 German language skills
- Reading and Grammar Improvement
- Development of Writing Skills
- Public Speaking Coach
Remember, I didn't teach these subjects...I've actively used them as a writer, translator and public speaker. Those who can, DO!
Please check my info section for further skills that might help you or someone you might know. If you drag out the procedure and nobody seems to please you, you child will continue to fall behind.
Do you really want this to happen when we're well underway into the school year?
