I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics, and I finished a Masters degree in Applied Statistics in December of 2013. My strengths are in teaching high school and lower college level math and statistics to students who don't "get" math. I have an easy-going, patient personality, and I believe there is no such thing as a bad question. I am good at breaking math down to it's most basic level, and going through every step to ensure that you don't get lost. If a particular concept isn't making sense to you, I will try to find another (and another, and another...) way to explain it until it does make sense.
I am an instructor at a local college in Peoria, and thus I have access to classroom space through my job - so I can provide a safe and quiet place for us to work, if needed! I'm more than happy to meet wherever it's most convenient for you, though. I really love teaching! It's what I want to do for the rest of my life, so please, if you're struggling with anything I might be able to help you with, drop me a line!
