To all students and parents,
My name is T'keyah and I am 21 years old studying Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics and an endorsement in middle level education. I reside with my family in the south suburbs of Chicago and will attend Harold Washington College this fall 2012 semester. For the past year and a half I have attended Eastern Illinois University where I have not only taken courses focusing on education but I have also completed classroom observation and tutoring hours as a requirement for those courses. This fall I will enroll in the following courses: Math for Elementary Teaching I, Technology in the classroom, and Childhood Psychology. I have a passion for mathematics, education, and assisting children in any way I can. I have the patience, understanding, and determination needed to make a difference.
