Marhaba! Here’s your first lesson in Arabic:
Marhaba = Hello
Kaif halik? = How are you?
Ismi … = My name is …
Thank you = Shukran
Goodbye = Ma’assalama
You see? Learning Arabic doesn’t have to be difficult.
I’m from Baghdad, Iraq and have been a U.S. citizen for 30 years. Switching between English and Arabic is natural for me, so it is easy for me to teach Arabic to English speakers. I tutor for multiple purposes, such as improving your Arabic for school work, acquiring language skills for business and vacation travel, etc.
I teach Classical Arabic, which means it is the pure and proper form of the language; if you learn this, you can understand multiple dialects – and there are many in the Arab speaking countries. My language lessons are sprinkled with lessons about Arab culture, which is an added bonus.
I look forward to assisting you with learning and advancing your language skills.
