Hi! I'm a graduate student currently pursuing my Master's of Social Work at UIC. I'm looking to supplement my income some while giving kids the tools they need to achieve their own academic goals. I also have a special interest in helping other students with ADHD, as it is something I have had to deal with myself.

I have done some brief tutoring in the past, mainly with math, and I have also regularly edited the writing of my friends and younger relatives. While math and English are certainly my strongest points, as a student I have excelled in most everything, and I would certainly be comfortable helping a student in elementary, middle school, and even high school (to an extent) with general homework.

Some of my own academic accomplishments include: National Merit finalist, member of National Honors Society in high school, in top 10 of high school graduating class, scored a 5 on every AP test taken (U.S. History, U.S. Gov & Politics, English Literature, English Language, Spanish Language, Psychology, Biology, Calculus AB), winner of SUNY Geneseo's award for writing in women's studies, founding an experiential learning program in the psychology department, multiple research papers and presentations presented

In addition, I have just finished a year-long internship at a Chicago non-profit that provides after school programming. There, I worked primarily with students in grades three through five, although I also spent some time at a middle school as well. This experienced helped me to improve my skills in forming a quality rapport with children and with communicating effectively with them.
