Hi, My name is Malana and I would love to tutor you! As a doctoral learner at Grand Canyon University I appreciate individual's with the passion to achieve success. Knowledge is power, but you first need passion to achieve that power. Every individual can be successful if they have passion for what they are doing. My knowledge in core curriculum standards will assist you in meeting your educational needs in an innovative way. As an educator I believe in a full sensory learning experience! I engage my learners in a variety of fun activities to assist them in not only learning, but in retaining the information that they need to know. Currently, I am a special educator and QIDP for adults with severe special education needs at a non-profit organization in the Chicagoland area. I'm also a doctoral learner at Grand Canyon University.

As a dedicated life-long learner I have taken pride in my own achievements and have the passion to assist you in meeting your individual educational goals. You *CAN* and *WILL* succeed. In the past I have tutored students for exams and in content that they previously had no knowledge of and have observed tremendous success. As a student there have been multiple opportunities to tutor and mentor members of my doctoral peer group as they have decided to further their education; providing valuable insight, knowledge, and support to them as they strive to achieve their goals. This success does not belong to me. It belongs to YOU! I am merely a cheerleader in your corner to support you.

I believe that my teaching experience in combination with my own educational background, make me a strong candidate for what you need in a tutor. If you have any questions, I would be happy to send you additional materials such as letters of reference, writing samples, and lesson plans.
