Most students, at one time or another, have had an incident with the infamous RED PEN. You know what I'm talking about; after turning in a paper you worked hard on, it's handed back by your teacher with more red comments and scribbles than typed, black ink!
In my 3+ years as a tutor and Writing Fellow at DePaul University, I've honed skills that help me assist each and every writer to find their voice, perfect their writing skills, and forget about the red pen. I'd love to partner with you to achieve those goals and many others.
My expertise includes: MLA & APA style (I'm published in both); personal statements, argumentative essays, narratives, research papers/reports, exegetical papers and many other types of writing; ACT writing.

My tutoring style is ultimately dictated by YOU - what you'd like to accomplish. To this end, I utilize both in-person tutorials and something I call feedback by email. Feedback by email is where you send me a paper via email and I return it via email with corrections and extensive comments to enable revision.
