Hello:
My name is James H. I am African-American. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Communication (BS) from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and a Master's in Education from St. Xavier University. I am a member of Kappa Delta PI Honor Society in Education and graduated with honors from St. Xavier in 2011. I have taught social studies, language arts and physical education on the middle school level (6-8th grades) as well as 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, all subjects,including physical education. I also have some experience with Special Needs children. My educational philosophy is that as an educator, my job is to teach my students how to think, but never what to think.
I would like to tutor students between 3rd and 8th grades especially in the areas of reading, language arts and social studies. I can also tutor science.
