I have a BA in English Literature and Rhetoric from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Technical and Professional Writing from Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Teaching from National-Louis. I had my own writing and editing consulting business for 15 years before I went into education. I can make anyone a better writer.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have a Master's degree in Education and a BA in English Literature and Rhetoric. I have taught K thru Adult for over 15 years. I have worked in over a dozen different schools, public, private, and therapeutic.

Study Skills

I have been teaching for over 15 years. This includes writing tests and study guides. I have a Master's degree in Education, so I know how tests are designed. I know how to find the main point of a paragraph and teach others how to find it on their own.

Basketball

I played basketball in grade school and high school. I coached basketball for many years.

Baseball

I have played softball for decades, coached 2 sons in baseball, and I have been an avid fan of AAA and major league baseball my entire life. Both my sons are also umpires.

Botany

I started out as a Biology major in college. I have taken 2 courses in Botany in college. I have also taught biology, earth science, and many botany-related subjects in my 15 years of teaching.

Bible Studies

I have taught Sunday School for over 15 years. I am on my church board, and regularly join Bible study classes.

Nutrition

I have taught nutrition classes over the years. This is one subject I read about every day. I am interested in always learning the latest studies about the connection between nutrition and health.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
