When it seems hard, it can be hard to get started. Let's take the fear of failure out of the equation. We can work together to laugh that course work into submission.
I have experience with tutoring my own ADHD brother and ADHD son and have been certified for teaching in a Montesorri based prepared environment teaching method. I enjoy incorporating movement and games into lessons.
I taught theater and movement in various Park District programs and am an experienced public speaker. While in school, I excelled in theater dialects. I am currently active in my church theater program as a director.
While practicing law, I taught seminars in high schools and community outlets on basic business and personal law practices. Working with clients I have become skilled at explaining difficult and complex legal theory so that they can fully understand their rights, responsibilities and options.
As a writer, I have experience in technical, non-fiction, and fiction formats of writing. My preferred genres for novel writing are mystery/action and speculative fiction.
My sole goal as your tutor will be to help you succeed. In addition to covering base materials, every lesson will include assistance in study skills and discipline helps so that you will be able to continue to be successful between lessons.
I look forward to working with you!
