Hello,
My name is Vandana G. I started my career tutoring pre-school to elementary level children. My first job was at LittlePeople Inc. where I taught pre-school and elementary level children.
Then I changed my career and finished my associate degree in Computer Science. I took some professional courses at IIT and a private institute.
Now, I am an Oracle Database Professional with ten years of IT experience. I have five year of experience in database applications using Oracle Financial Database. In my previous jobs I also worked as a programmer in the programming languages SQL. PL/SQL, Forms/Reports and in the Data warehousing reporting tools. I worked for five big companies in the past.
I got laid off in 2003. I worked as a Teacher at Compulearn Institute then the Institute closed during the recession and I lost my job. I then decided to take a break for few years and helped my children in Algebra 1, Reading and Computer Programming. I did some volunteer work for Meadow Glens School Children in district 203.
After few years of break I decided to change in direction towards my long time interest teaching or tutoring small or young children. I really enjoy their company.
