Hello!

This coming year, I will be a junior at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I am double majoring in Mathematics and Statistics and minoring in Secondary Education, with plans to become a high school math teacher after graduating. I have taken the following mathematics and statistics courses and have provided the grade I received in each: *Algebra 1 (A+), *Algebra 2 (A+), *High School Geometry (A+), *Pre-Calculus (A+), *AP Calculus AB (Calculus 1) (A), *AP Statistics (A), *Calculus 2 (A+), *Calculus 3 (A), *Matrix Theory (A), *Introduction to Proof-Writing (A+), *Statistics and Probability I (Calculus-based Statistics) (A+), *Abstract Linear Algebra (A-), Non-Euclidean Geometry (B+), *Methods of Applied Statistics (Regression Analysis) (A+). A * indicates I have had tutoring experience in the subject.

This coming semester, I will be taking Honors Real Analysis, Number Theory, and Statistics and Probability II. I have tutored in local high school classrooms as well as my own high school, and I have also had experience tutoring college students on campus as part of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. This coming semester, I will work with a cooperating teacher in a high school and plan/teach lessons for high school math classes. I will also be a Teaching Assistant for a class of approximately 25 college freshman students in the college of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I would be happy to offer my assistance to anyone in need!

Best,

Cam

I took this course my freshman year of high school and earned an A both semesters. I have also tutored many students in Algebra 2, one of which was failing the class, but after tutoring sessions with me, was able to receive an B on the final, thus allowing him to pass the course.

I completed Calculus 1 my senior year of high school. I took AP Calculus AB and earned an A in the class both semesters and received a 5 on the AP exam (5 being the highest score possible on a 1-5 scale). At the University of Illinois, I earned an A+ in Calculus 2 and an A in Calculus 3. Therefore, I have finished the entire Calculus sequence. In addition, I have tutored numerous individuals in Calculus 1, 2, and 3.

I took a course this past year called Introductory Matrix Theory (Introductory Linear Algebra). I received an A on all exams in the course and an A in the course overall. I even received the Department Award in Mathematics my senior year.

I took a course my freshmen year at U of I in logic and received an A+. Throughout high school, math was always my strongest subject, and I aced every math course I took - Algebra 2 Honors, Geometry Honors, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry Honors, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics.

I took AP Psychology my senior year of high school and earned an A in the class both semesters and a 5 on the AP exam (5 being the highest score possible on a 1-5 scale).

I took AP Statistics my senior year of high school. I earned an A in the class both semesters and earned a 5 on the AP exam (5 being the highest score possible on a 1-5 scale).

I took this course my junior year and earned an A both semesters. I have tutored many students in this subject, and they seemed to have a more thorough understanding of the material once I presented it.

Very knowledgeable and accommodating — Cameron was great. He tutored my son for 1/2 of the summer in Algebra I to prepare him for high school Algebra. He is very knowledgeable and a patient teacher. He kept my son involved in learning, which made it more interesting for my son. I highly recommend Cameron! ...
