My career has been as a Systems Engineer and Management Consultant; and I currently teach part time at a private school. When I entered college, I placed in the upper 2% nationally in mathematics. Upon graduation, I was educated further in Systems Engineering and Guided Missiles at the Johns Hopkins University APL placing 9th overall in a class of approximately 35. Later I obtained a Master of Science Degree by attending night school. I have solved some very difficult problems in my field of endeavor of over 30 years.
I enjoy teaching science and mathematics and have educated my own children at home for the first part of their education. All of them have gone on to excel in one field or another based on this firm foundation of learning. I enjoy teaching and showing younger people difficult concepts so that they can overcome mental blocks and eventually "get it."
Besides being able to teach in the academic sense, I am able to bring difficult concepts down to practical cases so that students can personally relate to them as they are used in business today.
