!Hola a Todos!
My name is Sabrina Perez and I am currently finishing my Bachelors of Arts in the Teaching of Spanish, and I will be starting my student teaching next year. I love the Spanish language and would love to help others become more fluent and gain skills in Spanish. I am passionate about teaching Spanish and also about Latin American cultures which I study as my minor. I have studied abroad in Costa Rica where I lived with a Costa Rican host family and volunteered at the local elementary and high school. I have also traveled to Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Spain. Each country provided unique and special experiences that have added to my Spanish vocabulary and knowledge which I would love to share with anyone interested. Further, I myself am half-Hispanic (Colombian), but I was born in the United States and I am excited to travel to Colombia one day. My philosophy of teaching is the belief that every student is capable of achieving great strides towards their goals through determination and hard work. This is achieved through a knowledgeable and compassionate teacher who acts as a facilitator to uniquely guide each student’s potential in the skill they wish to develop further. I am very excited to help people become more confident in the language I love and be able to express themselves in the wonderful language of Spanish!
!Que viva el español!
