School's out for the summer. It seemed like a good time to look for something part time to stay sharp. I enjoy young people, otherwise, why would I teach? I am a full time middle school science teacher. I have a bachelors in science and a masters in teaching. My focus in college was environmental science and biology, particularly animal science. I have background knowledge in algebra, geometry and introductory calculus, as well as a variety of scientific disciplines. I excel at breaking concepts down and simplifying them. I do a lot of one on one tutoring after school hours already, so I look forward to keeping that up over the summer if the right opportunity presents itself. I am not opposed to continuing a tutoring relationship into the next school year if desired.
