Biostatistics

I have taught statistics for over 15 years at the University level, as well as tutoring individual students and small groups for more than two decades. My BA in Physics and Math, as well as my MBA have helped me relate well to the bio-sciences, health-care and social sciences. The math is the same, and I have learned the "bio- terminology".

Business

MBA Keller Graduate School and over thirty years of Business experience as President of a manufacturers' representative firm; as well as over 15 years teaching experience at Lewis University School of Business, teaching clases in Marketing, Business Statistics and Mathematics. I have consulted with hundreds of business owners and managers from start-ups to large corporations, on all topics of business including accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, sales, logistics, economics and management.

Linear Algebra

I have taught linear algebra at the college level, both at Lewis University and at Morraine Valley Community College. I am currently teaching Decision Science, which is a applied Linear Algebra class in the Business Department.

Marketing

I have an MBA in Marketing from Keller Graduate School, plus over thirty years of marketing experience as president of a manufacturers' representative firm, and am a current member of the American Marketing Association. I have taught Principles of Marketing, Marketing Stragtegy and Salesmanship at Lewis University. I have written and reviewed hundreds of marketing plans.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
