Hello, potential parents and students!!! My name is Camille and it would be great to help a student become better at what they're struggling with. Starting this Spring I intend to continue earning my degree in Education/Art/Science. I've had many opportunities to assist in helping a student correct, improve, or learn a whole new way to be successful.

From 2000-2002 I worked at a school in Milwaukee, WI called YW Global Career Academy. I was originally hired as a extended-day facilitator, then was additionally offered a tutoring opportunity. For the tutoring, the school had a program available called Success For All. This program came with small sized books with pictures and stories for language/phonics.

I would say the program was successful, because the students I tutored did indeed graduate, as well as show me that they understood, read better, and overall improved. I am a avid reader, I study history in my own time, I love knowledge, and expanding my mind, and I truly enjoy working with the youth. So hopefully you'll be interested in what I can do regarding helping a student.

Thank you.

Chess

Hello! My name is Camille, and I've been a chess player since 2000. I have taught six children, ages ranging from 6-13. I of course know the pieces, the moves for each, and I know of some techniques. My chess teacher was a avid reader on the subject of chess. He studied from the book- Chess Queen, and Capablanca. I did not study up on the great chess players, but I have most certainly been exposed to techniques. My main goal would be to teach beginner chess skills. Chess keeps the mind sharp!

Drawing

Hello! I have been drawing since I could write. For the last 20 years, I have been increasing, and improving the skill of fine detail. I believe it has sharpened my eyesight as well- or I just have really good eyesight. I draw mainly portraits of people, patterns & designs. I would love the opportunity to help a student increase their skills as well. I truly believe there is not one way to properly draw. Art/drawing is limitless. I know this because I've seen a circle with a dot be sold for millions! I would like to help nurture the artistic natural ability within each student, and show them that one can have a artistic future!

Reading

Hello. My name is Camille, and I have very good reading and ever increasing comprehension skills. I've tutored many children over the years (related and non-related). I have the patience to help someone read better, or to learn for the first time.
