I was born and raised in Beijing, China. I speak standard Mandarin, the national language in China fluently. I came to the U.S. after I turned 33 in 1987.

I am a nurse and am currently working in an emergency room. Teaching children and adults health education are a part of my job duties, and a part of my job that I truly enjoy. I am looking for an opportunity to utilize my native language and combine my love of teaching with my love of Mandarin. I am very familiar with the culture and it would be an honor and privilege to teach others the language that I love.
