I'm 25, and have received my B.A. from Columbia College of Missouri. I work primarily as an office manager and outside of 9 to 5, I am a freelance journalist for a small local newspaper. In the past, I have tutored junior-high level math for the local middle school in the past and higher levels of reading/writing/English independently. I excelled throughout school and was on the Dean's List for a lot of my college career. I currently help my husband with his college coursework on a regular basis.
I took honors courses in English, biology, and advanced computer classes. I have a strong literary background not only educationally, but professionally. That also applies to my Microsoft Office experience. I use Excel and Word on a regular basis.

I have been using Photoshop to edit and create graphics since 2004. I have a strong knowledge of manipulation and am familiar with Photoshop 7 above other versions of the software. I have created fliers for local businesses, business cards for former employers, graphics for my freelance clients, and mostly use it in my spare time for fun or to manipulate personal images.
Photoshop is something that takes time and technique to learn, and while the concepts and the options become basic, each person will have their own methods. I feel that I have an great grasp of the general Photoshop knowledge and would be able to help those who wish to further their abilities within the program.
I've used a computer on a daily basis for the last nine years. I've taken computer courses in Microsoft Office, Visual Basic and C++, Graphic Design, and have plenty of hands-on training in troubleshooting my personal desktop as well as friends and family's computers. I write freelance news for work and I do most of my composition on the computer and use Microsoft Outlook Express and several online mail servers 10 or more times a day using attachments and other in depth communications. I have used Access on a regular basis for personal projects relating to college courses and I took one course which was solely focused in the use of Access for database management. I know how to use the software to create new databases, modified existing databases and produce reports. I think I would be able to help other people in creating and managing the databases in order to better serve both themselves and if necessary, their companies.
Outlook and Outlook Express are my primary email clients and have been for the last decade. I use it every day at work and at home. I have plenty of experience with all functions including sending, receiving, address book, requesting read receipts, sending blind copies and more. I know attachments, signatures, and all other necessary pieces of the Outlook puzzle due to my daily(actually hourly would be more accurate) use of the software.
I use Windows and MS Office daily. My entire computer background began with Windows 95 and I have never used another operating system. I am very well versed in Windows 95 and up and use XP on an hourly basis. I believe that I am more than capable of teaching others because I have education, hands on experience, and am often the go-to person at my place of employment when the other employees need computer help. I can troubleshoot most any Windows based program.
I have been photographing my life since I can remember. In college, I began taking my photography more seriously, exploring various art courses and moving towards more advanced cameras. I have been using digital cameras for 10 years now and have recently begun to expand into the DSLR cameras with interchangable lenses and various filters. I am a freelance journalist and most of my assignments are complimented by event photography. I am primarily focused in photographing moving people or events including sports and concerts, but also have experience in portraits and scenery. I am well aware of ISO sensitivities as well as editing techniques necessary for lighting changes.
QuickBooks is part of my every day work activity. I know to how create new accounts, managing existing accounts, bill customers, receive payments from customers, pay bills to vendors, manage payroll, and create quarterly/annual and other necessary reports for tax preparation at the end of the year and for reconciliation purposes. I have been a daily user of the software for over 1 year focused in both accounts receivable and accounts payable. I feel I would hold more than sufficient knowledge to help train others.
