English/ACT/SAT/ESL Tutoring at your place/library/coffee shop

Need help with English, writing, speech, or grammar? Looking for help preparing for the SAT or ACT? Want an ESL tutor or teacher? I am ready to help. With over 10 years of teaching both abroad and in the United States, I am a certified English teacher licensed to teach grades 6-12, but I have also taught at the junior college level. I am looking to help both students and adults to sharpen their English skills, or prepare for the SAT or ACT. If you are looking to learn English, and want someone who has taught ESL before, I can help with that too.

I hold a B.A. in English Education from St. Olaf College and a Master's in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I currently hold two Illinois teaching certificates: type 09 (grades 6-10), and a type 75 (general administrative) and a middle school endorsement. I taught ESL at both Triton College and Prairie State College.

Currently looking to tutor in the Lombard area, at the library, in your home, or at a local coffee shop. I am available to tutor in the evenings and on weekends. Please contact me.

ACT Reading

ACT Reading is an important part of the ACT exam. It is necessary to find shortcuts to pass the reading part of the ACT exam if you are going to finish on time.
