I have been studying French since 2000. My journey started in high school, where I was quickly inducted into the French Honor Society for my enthusiasm and aptitude for the language. After high school, I went on to major in French at Elmhurst College. During that time, I spent a semester in Nantes, France and became fluent.
I have had the opportunity to translate documents from French to English both in my studies in France and in my current workplace. I work for a multinational business as a sales representative, handling Canadian accounts. I am often asked to translate emails and short documents for my American coworkers.
In my free time, I make it a priority to watch some French news every day. I have lots of music representing many aspects of la francophonie du monde. I appreciate and encourage study of all things French and am more than happy to help anyone in need of a little boost.
