My name is Frieda. I am originally from the former Soviet Union, where I earned my degree in chemical engineering. I have lived in this country for 31 years and worked as a chemical engineer throughout this time. Russian is my primary language but I have been fluent in English for over 30 years. To regularly keep up my language skills, I read Russian books and newspapers, and speak the language on a daily basis among friends and family.

I have recently retired from my career in chemistry and am seeking part time work to help others improve their Russian language skills. I would love to share my knowledge with others and I feel that Russian is a wonderful and exciting language. I also enjoy meeting and working with new people, and so tutoring felt like a good fit.
