Hello,

My name is David. I am currently a college student at the College of Lake County and will be attending Trinity International University this spring as a mathematics major. Previously, I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for two years as a Computer Science and Statistics major. The reason that I left the University of Illinois was the financial burden involved in pursuing a degree in Mathematics combined with my goal of playing college volleyball.

In high school, I took and received credit for AP Calculus as well as AP Statistics plus other non-math related courses. I scored a 34 on my ACT, with a 35 on math and a 36 on reading. While math is my primary focus, I am available to tutor all sections for the ACT.

With my tutoring, I believe in first learning where the student stands on the material, and I usually request that they bring an old exam or something similar to make sure that we can choose an accurate starting point. I also tend to tutor at a much deeper level than others, as I truly believe that students who understand the concepts will be much more successful moving forward than those who only know the basic steps to what they are attempting to solve.

Thank you,

David

All that we wanted — I believe that this needs to be done for David. His patience, knowledge, approach was all that we wanted for our son. He did not have much time with our son because we found David too late but the short time he did spend with our son was very rewarding. With the little time he had David was able to touch on the things that he was having difficulties with and Dave was able to give him some quick ...
