I played soccer for 13 years in Athens, Greece. Starting from the age of 5, I discovered the excitement of soccer. After college I followed a different professional career, but I never stopped training. Whenever I had the change, I volunteered coaching students at soccer clubs.
Today I have the IYSA-USSF "E" License, I'm an active soccer head coach at IWSL and I am coaching a girl's soccer team at Lake Forest Soccer Association.
My knowledge of soccer techniques and strategies gives me the ability to teach my players how to master the sport.
As a coach, I can teach skills such as:
The importance of team work and sportsmanship.
Being able to win and lose.
Learning what it takes to succeed.
Important technical skills.
At the training sessions I will teach you: Shooting, running with or without the ball, passing-receiving, dribbling to penetrate or possess, pressing-covering, control of the ball, balance, dribbling to set up a pass, crossing, heading,individual attacking, individual defending, passing and combining, etc.
My sports activities and experience include:
From 1989 to 1991 I was in the Greek Army as a sergeant and played soccer on the military soccer team.
From 1984 to 1987 I played for a National Youth Soccer Club in Greece called AEK F.C.
From 1982 to 1984 I played for a National Youth Soccer Club of Greece called Apollon Athens.
From 1974 to 1982 I played at a Soccer Youth Club of Athens called Eleutheroupoli AE.
