I have been a stay-at-home Mom for 20 years. I have 2 children in college now. One is at the University of Michigan and one is at the University of Minnesota. My other two children are currently at Lake Zurich Middle School South. My professional career was in healthcare administration however I also worked part-time for Stanley Kaplan Educational Center as a tutor for SAT and GMAT prep courses. Between getting my undergraduate and graduate degrees, I worked at a school for gifted children, as an assistant teacher in 2nd grade. I have also worked in childcare in the healthcare setting and more recently as a volunteer at Children's Memorial Hospital in Oncology and at the Lake Zurich schools facilitating a reading series called Junior Great Books.
