Hello my name is Patrick B. and I recently graduated from Fenwick High School. While there, and in a rigorous course load which included many AP and Honors level classes, a achieved a 4.65 cumulative GPA over 4 years. In addition, I participated in my school's peer tutoring program for three years. Some other academic achievements include being named to the National Honor Society, being named the Top Latin Student for the class of 2012, and being named an Illinois State Scholar. For Test Prep qualifications, I received a 35 on the ACT and a 2210 on the SAT, using many strategies that helped me improve my scores. In high school, I also played football and track. In the fall, I will be attending Washington University in St. Louis, where I will be studying biomedical engineering and also playing football.
When it comes to tutoring, as I said above, I have a few years experience in the formal tutoring program at my school, and also privately tutored numerous classmates in a wide range of subjects outside the program. I am open to tutoring in many different subjects, including but not limited to Latin, Math, Science, English, and Test Prep. My high school career has given me a great background for this, as I took a wide range of classes and succeeded in them. I am a very dedicated person, and work well in the tutoring environment. I am willing to put in however much time is needed, and will work diligently to help the student succeed.
