I have years of experience in using Chinese as a tool of communications - working in a large Chinese newspaper at its foreign desk, where I had to monitor in English what was going on in the world, but wrote in Chinese for my audience in the People's Republic of China; contributing my articles in both English and Chinese for the most important newspaper in Singapore; offering my services to a Chicago-based international marketing and communications firm which was specialized in helping Fortune 500 companies in penetrating the Asian markets, and led the Chinese publishing operation for the world's most prominent management consulting firm in both the US and Shanghai.
I am sort of half Chinese and half American, in terms of the time I have spent in each country, the type of work I have done for each country, the kind of stuff I have read in each country, the type of food I have enjoyed in each country and the languages I have used in each country.
So much for me for now. Hope you can benefit from my experience by choosing me as your Chinese tutor.
