I am a French and Hebrew teacher with many years of experience teaching children and adults. I have taught at the N-Y-C and Milwaukee Alliance Francaise and the Berlitz Institute among other schools. I graduated from Sorbonne University in Paris with a major in French and a minor in Hebrew. For many years I taught in the Paris public schools before moving to the US in 1980. When I came to New York, I started teaching at the Lycee Francais of New York City and at the Alliance Francaise of NYC where I taught adults and children and tutored for more than 6 years. I have also taught French in two private schools in New Jersey and Hebrew in one school in Cliffside Park, NJ as well.
I specialize in teaching conversation to adults and children (from kindergarten to college level) and I love to teach the languages and cultures of France and Israel. I have many years of experience tutoring French for high school and college preparation, French for business and French for travelers among other subjects.
I have a hands on and practical approach to teaching the languages that makes it fun and easy. I do not teach grammar separately, instead I incorporate the grammar part of the lesson into the reading and speaking comprehension part of the class so it becomes effortless and fun.
