Lida has helped me with Physics 1 and Physics 2 at my university. She helped me boost my grade. I was just amazed because she really cares about her students and is willing to do anything to help. She is a fantastic tutor because she is patient with you and will show you step by step. She is a physics master.

Lida has been my tutor for over a month now and I am happy to say that she is very patient, understanding and easy to talk to. Miss Lida M. is probably the best tutor out there. She is very nice, smart, and she is an amazing teacher. She is very easy to get in contact with, because you can literally just text her and she will respond right away with information you need. Lida is the best Spanish tutor. She is very patient, thorough and thoughtful. She comes from Columbia. Columbia is the center of the Spanish speaking world. Many think that the Spanish of Columbia is the best. I agree.
Lida has a great work book with some useful exercises. She was quickly able to sense out which exercises would be appropriate for my level. I liked doing the exercises. I think that they helped her too, in that they helped to quickly define what level I am at.
Lida was on time and picked a quiet place to meet. This helped me a lot as a beginner.
If you are serious about learning Spanish, you should make an appointment with Lida but please do not do so at my regular time slot.

Our son was reluctant to have a tutor, but he ended up not wanting to stop the session. Lida was able to explain things in a different way that really clicked. He actually admitted that this first session helped him with his math this week. We look forward to our next session. Thank you, Lida!

I had two classes with Lida so far and I am very satisfied. She is good in transferring the knowledge, patient, you can ask her questions, and she is friendly which makes me learn more since I am done with school and don't like feeling scared of my professor. She is fluent in Spanish which makes you pick up the accent faster and also she likes to start talking Spanish over the phone while setting up the next meeting with you which is great and you break the ice at a very beginning :)

Lida is a very good teacher when it comes to Spanish. She has very good speaking skills. She teaches vocabulary in different tenses. She also teaches speaking skills. She give you a picture and you have to explain what it says. She's a really good tutor!

A few days ago, we started our search for a tutor for our 4th grade son. That day we sent several messages to various tutors. Lida was the quickest response and she was easy to communicate with. We scheduled the first meeting and she was prompt. She arrived at the scheduled time and her friendly demeanor was an asset to our son who was a little afraid of beginning with a tutor. She immediately took over and started working with him. Although it is too early to see the results, I expect to see real progress with Lida.

We are writing to express our gratitude for the extra time and attention you’ve afforded our son last night September 20, 2011, with a very short time request.
Our son has some difficulties understanding algebra. The teacher explained the algebra lesson in class and he did not fully understand the algebra concepts. He was confused and frustrated with the algebra problems. When Lida stared explaining the Algebra problems and resolved over twenty five algebra problems he started understating the algebra concept. He was improved remarkably over the 60 minutes lesson. We have also noticed that he started approaching his Algebra homework more confidently. With Lida coaching, he has discovered that if he applies himself consistently to understanding a difficult problem, he will succeed.
We are very impressed with your teaching ability, as well as with the amount of care and attention you’ve given our son. He was very lucky to be your student tutor last night.
