Hey there! Evaluating my qualifications?! This is certainly a must in today's society and competitive learning environment; you deserve the best tutor! So, here we go: I am a 22 year old guy who recently graduated from Benedictine University in May of 2012 with a degree in Biology under the Pre-med program. My GPA when graduating was a 3.723. I graduated with Cum Laude Honors and I was on the Dean's list 7 of my 8 total semesters. I also have experience with being a teachers assistant, as I was a TA in a general chemistry lab for a year.
But that's enough with the numbers and cold facts. Here's a little about myself and my goals. I like to spend my time reading, helping my friends with their studies, working out, traveling, volunteering, playing sports, and I love watching movies! It has been my dream since I was 12 to become a doctor. Yes, it is a very demanding field, but I am passionate about it and I am genuinely interested in helping people. I have been volunteering in an Emergency Room since March of 2010 and I have also spent time tutoring seniors on how to use computers. I hope you are beginning to see that I really enjoy volunteering my time to help others. Helping others has essentially become a part of who I am. Also, I love science and math and am fascinated by its complexity and yet how it manages to explain the most simple of things. So even after I graduated, I felt the urge to continue learning, so I enrolled and completed an Emergency Medical Technician course and became nationally certified as an EMT-B. Now that I have a little time off, I am interested in giving back what I have learned over time and the study skills I have developed. I want to see my student rise to the challenge of difficult coursework and learn to thrive. And everyone must remember, optimism is very important!
Thank you!
