I am highly effective, patient, and down-to-earth tutor naturally skilled in getting the most out of today's young minds. I have experience tutoring K-12, college students, and adult learners. I am very patient and will not give up on any student until the subject is mastered.

I can quickly absorb materials and figure a way to break it down to the student for easy intake and retention. I love to see students making progress. It is very refreshing to see the fruition of your labor.

I also believe in varying my teaching style to accommodate a wide variety of learning since everyone does not learn the same way. Some learn better with pictures, others like you to go straight to the point, some prefer a little bit of story to foster learning, while others come from a weaker learning background and my require a lot more patience, some need their confidence boosted to perform, and some a little less than that. As a tutor I know how to adjust my methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, and I'm patient enough to do so.

ACT Reading

I know how to train a student to retain most of what they have learned while comprehending it at the same time. There are ways to improve one's reading abilities, comprehension, and retention. As the student's skills are sharpened so those their confidence improve and their ability to take on more challenging task. The ability to read, comprehend, retain, and make good use of what was read, is a valuable and life long skill for all, and one that can be taught.
