Hi, my name is Kristin, I have over 7 years professional experience in American Sign Language. I received a Bachelor's Degree in 2004 from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL. I also received a minor in Deaf Education. I have been employed by several schools using my skills, such as Barrington Middle School Staion Campus IL, Cooper Middle School Buffalo Grove IL, and College of Lake County Grayslake, IL. I highly enjoy working in the schools as well as with the students. I have been a Sign Language Interpreter in the schools, teacher assistant, and an aide as well. I have a lot of experience not only with the usage of the language but as well as the teaching of students too. Some of my strengths are involve my ability to be caring, patient, and encouraging. I believe that these attributes help teacher achieve what they want out of the students and it helps the students achieve what they expect from their teachers.
