I enjoy teaching science, math, and college test prep as much as I enjoy learning them. My education background is in biochemistry from Syracuse University's Honors Program and about 2 years of tutoring experience with mainly HS and Jr. HS students. I truly believe that learning can be a fascinating endeavor if correctly applied. My tutoring style is based on building strong foundations in order to apply it to the more difficult problems; a strong foundation is especially critical for math and science. Therefore, my strength lies in simplifying difficult concepts into understandable language. Furthermore, I have scored highly on ACT, SAT subject tests, and MCAT and know what skill sets are necessary to do well on standardized exams - which are crucial for getting college applications considered as a whole. I also love to give advice on how to approach college application as well as making learning fun with elementary students. Let's learn!
