I am in my seventh year as an assistant math teacher at a North Suburban Middle School. My main duties include working with students in elementary math, pre-algebra and algebra I.

I work in classrooms assisting all the students, in small groups and one-on-one. I have tutored many students both for the district and independently. In addition to the math tutoring, I work on the student's self-esteem, positive attitude and how to learn from their mistakes.

For five years I supervised the homework club which met two times a week, where students got help in all subjects.

I have coached basketball, played for over 30 years, although not at a high level. I work in a Middle School and I'm in gym when basketball is taught. I can teach shooting, dribbling, defense and passing.
