I love to help people gain an understanding and appreciation for math. I will work with the math curriculum that you have, explaining material and working through a new or challenging problem together. Then I will give you the opportunity to solve a few on your own until you have mastered the concepts.
I'm patient, thorough and I love kids of any age. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. My ACT scores in Math and English were 34 and 35, respectively. I also have teaching experience. I was an Instructional Assistant for a college-level Circuits course (lots of math), tutored high-school math and taught piano lessons.
For first-time students, I would like to meet at a local library. If you decide to continue with me, I am open to meeting at my home (quiet and free of distractions) or perhaps a different location.
