Algebra 1

I taught Algebra at Mt. Carmel H.S. in Chicago, Miami Norland Senior High in Miami, and at Lake Park H.S. in Roselle, IL over 33 years.

German

I graduated with a B.A. With Honors in German from Lake Forest College, have taught German for over 30 years at the high school level. I taught Elementary German at Northwestern University as a graduate student, and earned an M.A. in German there.

I retired from teaching on 27. May 2011, and was coaching (American) football in Germany on 28. May for the Marburg Mercenaries.

ESL/ESOL

I taught German and lived in Germany over a 34-year career. I tutor speech as well, know the International Phonetic Alphabet and Phonetics in general. Writing, Morphology and Syntax are strong points for me.

Elementary Math

I taught Algebra I, Pre-Algebra, Algebra Part I, Modified Algebra and Finite Math at the high school level over 33 years. Since retiring from teaching I have continued to tutor in these subjects and Elementary Math.

Football

I was the Head Football Coach at Lake Park High School, Roselle, IL for 17 years; 7 years prior as Defensive Coordinator; 2 as Assistant Coach at Freshman, then Varsity level. In 2011 I retired from teaching, coached football in Marburg, Germany on the Defensive Line. In 2012 I returned to Lake Park H.S. to coach Offensive Line, and will return for next year.
