I love teaching and learning. I have earned my Master's degree in Latin and foreign languages. I am currently enrolled at Dominican University in River Forest where I am working on my Master of Arts in Teaching and certification in the area of Secondary Math Education.
I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching and tutoring students K-12 and as well as adults. I teach weekend Polish school and work full-time at a high school as a professional tutor. I am also the Polish language instructor at a community college where I teach beginning and advanced conversational Polish. In addition to Polish, I am able to tutor math, Latin, English as a Second Language, science and social studies. I am a fun tutor with a great sense of humor. I will patiently show you steps to solve any problem you have with your studies. My Rule Number 1 is: "Do not panic. You can do it!" I speak English and Polish, and can communicate in Russian and Spanish. I am a very patient, respectful, and positive teacher. I encourage my students to perform at their best, and I always believe in their intellectual potential. I strongly believe that students need the right tools, right approach, and the right amount of time to understand all concepts in any area of study.
I live in Franklin Park, and I am willing to drive to your house. Some students I tutor choose to come to my own house. I am looking forward to tutoring you as a student or your child!
