Perhaps my greatest attribute for teaching, tutoring, and in my business experience, is patience. I worked for twenty five years on the Chicago Board Option Exchange. One learns, working in a trading crowd, where competition is high, to be very calm and cool in chaotic environment. After retiring from that business, I became a substitute teacher in Evanston District 65. In a very different environment, patience and being calm in a sometimes challenging classroom was required. I enjoy connecting with students and helping them grow and succeed. It is part of my way to give something back to my community.
