I am a PhD graduate in mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. As a graduate student I have taught all classes in the calculus sequence and have tutored both undergraduate and graduate students in a wide variety of subjects. I enjoy working one on one with students and find it very rewarding when I can help them master a subject. I have found that the key to teaching mathematics is finding the right way to explain a concept, and tutoring gives me an opportunity to tailor my explanations to the student. By doing so I can make the subject less intimidating and even enjoyable.

I am patient, flexible, enthusiastic, and a good listener. I can tutor any subject in the high school mathematics curriculum, including geometry, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and discrete math as well as most undergraduate math classes. My schedule is flexible.
