My name is Matt and I am currently studying Environmental Engineering and Spanish at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. I have much experience tutoring students in high school in the subjects of math, science, and Spanish. Additionally, I volunteer at Centro Romero in Chicago where I assist teaching ESL classes to Spanish-speakers.
In addition to tutoring, I also have an extensive amount of leadership experience. I served as Vice President of Interact (a student-run community service organization at Cary-Grove) and on the Executive Board of National Honor Society. I was also a part of Link Crew, a program at my high school that helps freshmen to adjust to high-school life by doing fun activities with them.
I also played on the basketball team for four years at Cary-Grove, earning All-Conference Honors and All-Area Honorable Mention as a senior. I have been an assistant coach and counselor at several summer basketball camps, including the Cary-Grove Summer Basketball Camp and the Rich Falk Basketball Camp.
I promise that being tutored by me will be an enjoyable, enlightening, and overall beneficial experience.
